Kate is also a childhood friend of Drew like Lewis and Oswald. In the very first episode, she is seen seeking Drew’s help in getting a job in his company. But Drew refuses saying that he least prefers to appoint his own friends in his office as it would affect their friendship. She is a bit tomboy and a hot headed girl. At one point she is about to marry Oswald but she deserts him on the altar due to his idea of surprise wedding. Later, she comes to know about Drew’s crush on her since their school times in a school reunion. She realizes that she too has feelings for Drew and their affair starts and they get engaged. Eventually, they dropped the idea of getting married because of disagreements about having kids. After Drew’s stint in the mental hospital she regains feelings for Drew and they get married for a short while. Actually, Drew was already married to his ex-girl friend Nicki along with a civil marriage with his boss Mr. Wick. He keeps both the marriages secret from her, but finally both the wives come to know the truth. Now, angry Kate breaks up with Drew and tells the newspapers about the situation, which popularize him as “Impotent Bisexual Bigamist”. After sometime, Drew wins her trust back.
