The Drew Carey Show TV Show

Season 3 of ‘The Drew Carey Show’ was premiered on September 23, 1997 and the opening episode of the season was entitled ‘Drew Vs. Billboard’. In the beginning of the third season, we see that Wick chooses a young guy to represent the store at a conference and it makes Drew to worry about his physical fitness. In the second episode, ‘Drew and the Singles Union’, a major storm hits the town so the employees with families are allowed to leave early but single ones are supposed to stay and work. So, all singles start a singles’ union. Next episode was entitled ‘Strange Bedfellows’. ‘Misery Loves Mimi’- Mimi runs the store by issuing memos under Mr. Wick’s signature.

It makes Drew suspicious about Mr. Wick’s disappearance and he starts asking questions about it. Later on, he finds Mr. Wick and re-continues his job at the store. In the same season we also see- Nicki refuses to eat at the Warsaw’s annual ‘Bust-a-Gut’ night as she’s on dieting; Drew wins a Batmobile in a contest at a fast food restaurant; Drew and Nicki go on a ride but police catches them, assuming that the car is once again stolen, while they’re having sex; Drew’s brother Steve visits him after losing his job and after breaking his engagement; Winfred Louder arranges a contest for all employees in which the winner will win two tickets to Bahamas; Mimi and Drew make a phony sexual harassment scheme after Mr. Wick finds a memo in which Mrs. Louder has discussed something about his firing; Oswald announces that he’s moving into Kate’s and Drew and Lewis are shocked to know it. Season finale ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ was aired on May 20, 1998. Various guest characters were also introduced this season such as Marion Ross as Drew’s mom Beulah; Tammy Faye as Mimi’s cosmetically challenged mother Tammy.

When Kate and Drew arrive at his house, they discover that Oswald has organized a surprise wedding and she decides to go through with the marriage. Later on, she tells Oswald that she don’t want to get married and poor Oswald goes on a disastrous honeymoon with Drew and Lewis.
