Season 6
Author: admin‘The Drew Carey Show’ season 6’s opening episode was entitled ‘Drew Pops Something on Kate’. In the beginning of the season, we see that Drew decides to ask Kate to marry him and also buys a costly engagement ring. Next episode was entitled ‘Be Drew to Your School’. Here we see that several people from the Future Leaders of America in High School come to the school on Career day and they all see Drew working in a cafeteria.
Various other plot developments this season were- Drew tries to persuade Mr. Wick to re-hire him; Drew and Kate realize that they really want to get married; In hopes to win back Drew’s job back, the gang plays poker with Mr. Wick; Oswald and Lewis are not satisfied with their jobs so they both ask Drew to help them; Drew agrees to marry Wick and Oswald and Lewis come along to cheer up the troubled Drew; Drew and Kate decide to be friends once again; Next we see that Drew and Mimi speech on Lewis and Oswald about their consequent screw-ups; Drew decides to get a date with Suzanne, a single co-worker who’s pregnant; Mimi and Steve buy a house near to Warsaw; after a 10 year long sentence, Oswald’s estranged father comes out and he (Oswald) doesn’t want to see him; Mr. Wick has been changed and he starts treating his employees with kindness; a phone call explains Kate that he has met an accident and is in hospital; Drew, on the hospital bed, enjoys a fantasy world; Steve and Mimi’s baby becomes quiet when Drew visits them and interacts with him; Drew’s obituary appears in newspaper and he’s shocked to know so; an insurance agent shows up at Drew’s house and his appearance troubles Oswald and Lewis; Mimi visits Winfred-Louder; Drew’s guide shows him, during his coma, that Lewis will go to hell and Drew begins to worry about him when he finds his mean spirited actions; Drew gets his car back from the repair shop but he refuses to drive; a woman asks Drew for a date. Season comes to an end on May 23, 2001 and the season finale was entitled ‘Bananas (2)’.
Season’s Top Ranked Episode ‘The Easter Show’
In this episode, we see that Drew gets his car back from the repair shop. But he’s sacred of his past experience and refuses to drive. Mr. Wick asks Drew to hire the one who’ll deliver Easter baskets. Drew hires Oswald ignoring Mr. Wick’s instructions. Lewis gets the phone number of his dream lady but it gets smeared before he can copy it somewhere. Oswald decides to deliver all the baskets and also tries to make new chocolate bunnies.
